AMC has given a series order to Preacher, an adaptation of Garth Ennis' popular comic books from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Dominic Cooper stars as Jesse Custer, the title character who lives in a small Texas town and searches for God along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga), and Cassidy, an Irish vampire (Joseph Gilgun).
