Tiny kitten with two missing legs gets a teeny wheelchair to frolic in

For one teeny kitten, good things come from fighting to stay alive.

Cassidy is a two-legged kitten who spent the first nine weeks of life with no one to care for him. When a concerned citizen discovered the kitten fending for himself in Langley, British Columbia, he placed in the care of animal rescuer Shelly Roche, Langley Advance reports

Roche works for TinyKittens, a non-profit animal sanctuary based in British Columbia. When she first brought Cassidy in for a veterinary check up, doctors were unsure the starving kitten would make it, due to an E. coli infection in both stumps. Later, Roche took the kitten to see local veterinarian Dr. Renee Ferguson at Mountain View Veterinary Hospital, who cleaned the kitten's injured back legs. Read more...
