About a thousand people enjoyed an evening of open-air cinema to kick off the City Festival on Friday.A big screen was set up in Jubilee Square and families went along with chairs and blankets to enjoy a showing of the new film of The Jungle Book.Popcorn, food and drinks were on sale and the event, called An Indian Summer, began with live performances ahead of the film at 8.45pm.City councillor Ted Cassidy MBE attended the film.He said: "I couldn't believe how many people were there.
