The Boston Globe reported that Fallon Community Health Plan made a deal with Partners HealtchCare System, giving them unrestricted access to Partner-owned Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s.
The Worcester-based insurer has been expanding east. Fallon customers could only visit Mass. General and Brigham and Women’s for second opinions and specialty procedures before this deal.
“This is good for us and our members,” said Fallon vice president Christine Cassidy told the Globe. “We’ve heard loud and clear that they want to get to Mass. General and Brigham and Women’s.” Reported by Patch 5 days ago.
